Our sensors are used for wheel wear measurement in maintenance equipment of railway car.
By setting jig at a place where a wheel pass, make the system that a target moves according to wheel abrasion amount. As the target moves differently depending on wheel abrasion amount, the relative gap from a sensor will change. As a result of monitoring the change, the measurement of wheel abrasion amount becomes possible.
Eddy current sensor is not affected by dust, water, oil, etc. , and it has more advantages for fixed point monitoring in terms of high resolution than other sensors.
